Would you send out the lady that feeds breakfast, please?

January 15

No relation to breakfast here, but I think in order to really capture a year, I won't be able to stick with a theme too strictly.  This is Ian, Dennis' grandson, with his nephew, and "nephew-in-law-to-be" (boy, that is a mouthful!) and his Dad.  This was taken at the visitation for his mother, Melva Grace Ingram Henderson, June 14, 1921- January 13, 2011.

I could have more breakfast, please?

January 12

Yes, fiber and deliciousness.  Hard to believe, isn't it? My dad said pop-tarts tasted like shoe leather, warmed up. Drove him crazy that I loved them so much.

I'm 42.  Still eating them. :)

January 9

I found a fantastic site -- http://www.digital-photography-school.com/ -- when looking for tips on doing a 365 photo blog.  It had some fantastic tips for doing the project, and a really helpful chart of topics for the year.  Each topic is assigned to one week, so all the photos for that week should be an interpretation of the subject for that week.

The added challenge of the subject weeks really appeals to me, so I'll be trying that.

For the week ending today, the subject was "Cold."

So, today's photo is my representation of Cold for the end of this week.

Enjoy!

Closer view -- pics of outdoor decorations are so difficult to get the lighting right on, but I love my little bushes with the berry lights, so I'm sharing it anyway.
